GreenPowerWorks goal is to accelerate adoption of solar and other alternative energy sources by financing the transformation of mainstream America to renewable energy and its related businesses. Under the platform of THE GREAT GREEN RACE, our goal is to install one million solar American roofs within three years.
Recognizing the growing concern over carbon emissions and the tremendous impact that spiraling energy costs are having on all of us, our alliance will make it financially feasible for most families and businesses to afford solar powered electricity, enabling them to realize immediate energy savings of up to 25 percent or more.
Our initial launch focuses in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. If you are a buyer or renovator of a home or building in these states using products that meet a “green” standard, such as solar or other alternative energy installations, you may qualify for a larger mortgage. The annual energy savings add to the owner’s gross income and higher income translates to a higher loan amount. In addition, according to the Appraisal Institute, the market value of a solar powered home would immediately increase by 20 times the annual electric savings, which equals $36,000 for the average American homeowner with a $150 monthly electric bill.
