President & CEO, GreenPowerWorks
A Division of The Seldin Organization, Inc.

GREENPOWERWORKS, a division of The Seldin Organization, Inc., was formed to address crucial housing needs for the 21st century. Financing projects involving renewable energy and its related businesses promotes investment in the real estate industry's ongoing stability and continuity. With that goal in mind, THE GREAT GREEN RACE LLC was created in 2007 as a platform under which strategic alliances have been formed.  Through this platform and our alliance of finance and building green, adoption of renewable energy and green living practices will be greatly accelerated.

As President and Founder of two other divisions, Mortgage Clearing House in 1984 and The Inner Circle in 2001, Jane is responsible for setting GreenPowerWorks vision and driving its continued growth and development. Jane brings an impressive track record as CEO of GreenPowerWorks, having built a career in mortgage finance and long-standing real estate lending relationships with many of the country's leading lending institutions.

Prior to forming Mortgage Clearing House and The Inner Circle, for over 30 years, Jane is also the Executive Vice President of The Seldin Organization, Inc. a mortgage brokerage firm that began in 1900, has processed and placed more than a billion dollars in financing for housing developments and condominiums since 1945. In 1982, The Seldin Organization became the first out-sourced processing department for Chase Home Mortgage and Jane managed the entire staff for both Seldin and Chase Home Mortgage. In 1984, she was President and Founder of Mortgage Clearing House, the first lender network in the US marketing "one stop shopping" for mortgages.

As President of Mortgage Bankers Association of New York in 1987-1988, after chairing two events, she established the endowment for the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York Scholarship Foundation. As a result, MBA was able to solicit contributions and donations to fund scholarships at the college level. In addition MBA has provided financial assistance to students pursuing studies in the areas of real estate development and finance through New York University, Columbia University, and more recently, Long Island University at CW Post.

Jane served as Associate Vice President for Long Island Builders Institute in 1986-1987, during which time, the institute experienced its highest one year increase in membership due to her efforts. In 1994 she became a Life Director of the Institute.

In September 2008, Jane joined the GEC National Board of Directors of the International Green Energy Council. She also served on the Long Island Advisory Board for Helen Keller Services for the Blind, Long Island Holocaust Memorial Center, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Practitioners Institute at Long Island University, CW Post Campus.
